Position Function:
This position will have a geographical area with responsibilities including selling Horton Automatics products to general contractors, commercial developers, glass, glazing, hardware and end-users. To this end, they are responsible for successful attainment of sales and profit targets, market penetration within the assigned area, including mix, margin and new product management. Responsible for territory sales and individual account goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to read construction documents, specifications and associated trades for job estimating.
- Ability to gather pricing information for the purposes of generating cost/sell pricing.
- Ability to evaluate the needs of customer and convey them in direct sales situations.
- Provide excellent follow-up capabilities, questing our customers as to the results of our quote and their bid
- Ability to provide accurate monthly forecasting to Branch or General Manager
- Demonstrate effective negotiating skills in all aspects of interaction
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills, good judgment, and the ability to achieve consistent high levels of results.
