Job Description: Route Sales Representative
1. Call on all customers according to assigned day and frequency.
2. Conduct all sales calls implementing the following steps and service.
a. Fill and merchandise all shelves and displays.
b. Rotate stock.
c. Remove out-of-code and/or damaged product from selling area.
d. Update point-of-sale material.
e. Present new items.
f. Sell in special promotions.
g. Continuously strive to expand shelf space and product distribution.
3. Maintain National Beverage merchandising standards.
a. All products organized together.
b. Glide trays kept clean and identified
c. National Beverage products displayed in best possible position.
4. Regularly prospect for new accounts.
5. Participate in sales meetings and share ideas.
6. Complete all report requests on a timely basis.
7. Maintain accurate customer sales diaries daily.
8. Exercise proper care of all company supplied materials including uniforms, tablet, and cell telephone.
9. Communicate effectively with management and drivers to maximize sales opportunities.
Job Requirements:
1. Valid Driver’s License
2. Reliable Transportation
3. Current automobile insurance including liability coverage
4. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
