Bing Beverage is looking for an Area Representative to join our team to support and develop our distributor and retail accounts in the Hartford and New Haven Metro Areas, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. Occasionally, there may be other travel opportunities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic partnerships and relationships with distributor personnel, key retailers, and accounts in the region. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a creative and adaptive sales approach, as well as a strong understanding of the Connecticut and Rhode Island Markets.
Responsibilities:
- Analysis of distributor data and reporting tools to identify opportunities for expanding distribution, retain and reclaim accounts, build volume in existing accounts, and identify new business opportunities.
- Assist in developing annual business plans for distributor.
- Attend and present Bing programs and incentives at distributor sales meetings as needed.
- Maintain a flexible work schedule to best fit with the distributor and retailer needs.
- Plan and join Distributor Personnel for Route Ride Withs to target and penetrate new accounts.
- Direct accurate execution of programs by Distributor Personnel.
- Prospect and secure new accounts and promote trials using samples and coupons.
- Coordinate and plan promotions at current/potential customer events and festivals.
- Monitor sales performance in the area and provide feedback to management.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis in the area.
- Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Audit and implement retail account shelf pricing and planograms for accuracy.
- Present and execute approved Bing point of sale and display materials at retailer.
- Locate and stock backstock and rotate existing product to maintain freshness.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 – 29 per week
