THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Sales Representative for our manufacturing plant in Rancho Cordova, CA. The Sales Representative will be driven and able to put forth the effort to grow and expand our growing sales territory.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Sales – Engage Customer Contacts:
- Acquire competent working knowledge of product offering and application.
- Acquire competent working knowledge of damage prevention and loading solutions
- Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets.
- Research and develop lists of potential customers.
- Follow up on sales leads and making cold calls on potential customers.
- Evaluate customer needs and develop application of products and services.
- Obtain & coordinate data & information to/from staff and member groups.
- Participate in sales meetings and training.
- Evaluate product/service marketability in terms of customers’ technical needs.
- Resolve product/service problems that may arise.
Sales – Communications & Presentations:
- Develop sales proposals, including load plans, diagrams, test procedures and/or inventory programs for customers on technical products/services.
- Make regular sales calls to develop long term relationships and follow up on leads.
Sales - Planning & Forecasting:
- Research, develop and maintain long and short range sales & marketing plans.
- Meet annual sales and revenue goals; reviewing quarterly
- Monitor, analyze, & communicate monthly sales data to contribute to product/service planning & forecasting.
Sales - Participate in new product development:
- Evaluate new product & service marketability.
- Recommend new technical products & product modifications or terminations.
- Gather and analyze customer technical feedback.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
· 2-3 years’ sales experience
· Formal training from a professional organization
· Bachelor degree preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
