Sales Representative
A-1 Power Equipment headquartered in Newburgh, IN is a leading Outdoor Power Equipment in the Tri-State area. With brands like Scag, Walker, Hustler Turf, Stihl, Cub Cadet, Hisun, TYM Tractors, and Massimo; we have become the go to dealership for residential and commercial clients. A-1 Power Equipment is locally owned and just celebrated its 18-year Anniversary. Thanks to our incredible, dedicated, hardworking, and supportive staff, A-1 has experienced incredible growth and expansion over the last decade, which has led to the need for another sales position. Due to the ever-changing market and our growth over the past few years, we have outgrown our current staff and are in need of adding a Sales Representative.

We will be branching out into the UTV, Pontoon, and Compact Tractor Sector; so any experience in these sectors would be a great plus.

We are looking for someone that wants the opportunity to grow a successful book of business through sales and someone that can see the future success of A-1 Power and how that will give them future management opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, develop, and grow sales in the consumer/residential sector of the Outdoor Power Equipment marketplace in the Tri-State area by further growing business with current clients and expanding our base by securing new clients.
  • Develop and cultivate strong relationships with our current residential clients. Support, train, and demo equipment in order to further grow sales with these clients, by helping them to understand their needs and be the solution.
  • Seek out and develop new relationships to exponentially grow our residential clientele and sales in the Outdoor Power Equipment sectors through in store sales, door to door sales, warm calling, and cold call outreach.
  • Create and grow sales in the consumer/residential market by any means necessary.
  • Assist our team in supporting our current clientele with parts and service orders.

Job Requirements:

  • Desire to meet and exceed sales goals and expectations.
  • Highly motivated and self-driven.
  • Mature, a high degree of integrity and honesty, self-motivated, and ability to work independently.
  • Proficient with email and MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Manage and resolve conflicts in a professional and positive manner.
  • Keep company information confidential and maintain personally held company property (trailer and demo equipment, etc.).
  • Able and willing to safely load, secure and operate a vehicle and trailer on a regular basis.
  • Willingness and ability to travel and work hours as required. A valid driver's license is required.
  • No experience required but will be a big plus

  • Base Salary + Tiered Commission + Bonuses
