This position starts in June 2024 with a 6-12 month Training Program where the new hire will learn about our business and the adhesive industry. Meeting and shadowing employees in different functions including R&D, Supply Chain, Engineering, Customer Service/Sales, Product Marketing, etc.
Upon completion of the first 6-12 months, the first role will be managing a small sales territory while being mentored by senior Sales Professionals and sales managers.

H.B. Fuller's World Headquarters is in St. Paul, Minnesota, however, we have flexibility and the person can be located anywhere in the U.S during the 6-12 month training period.
Role Description:
The Sales Trainee will be trained across a diverse range of markets. The training will include manufacturing, technical, financial and market knowledge plus intensive market/application training led by the Technical Services teams as well as visits to customers with Account Mangers. After the training the trainee will be capable of the following:
- Building relationships with various customers
- Selecting products for customers based on their critical to quality requirements, providing on-site product demonstration support, preparation of information in professional technical communications, and quantifying and communicating the value that H.B. Fuller brings to the customer.
- Traveling to customer sites to support and run business reviews
- Managing, maintaining and growing their own sales territory and being accountable for delivering results
- Consistently applying sales processes and using all sales tools
- Developing a sales funnel for future growth opportunities
- Working with their peers and Sales Leaders to learn the key skills to become a full Account Manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required (or obtaining a Bachelor's degree in the near future for New Graduates). Preferably in Engineering, Business, Sales or Marketing, but all majors accepted.
- No sales or career experience required for the position - we will train and teach you how to become a Sales Professional and advance your career.
- Candidate must have high self-confidence, curiosity, ambition and willingness to learn and build relationships with customers
- Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel), and have good presentation and report writing skills.
- Must be geographically mobile, and willing to relocate.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S., without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $65,000 - $70,000.
