The opportunity
POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Operations Specialist III is a liaison to Sales team ensuring all requests are handled efficiently and with importance. A detailed oriented individual who follows proper protocol and adheres to regulatory compliance and credit requirements to reduce risks to the customer and organization while onboarding new customer accounts and maintaining existing customer records. The individual will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data integrity, problem solve and for process improvement.
The hours for this position are M-Th 9a-6p, F 10a-7p.
ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
• Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.
• Perform detailed research and review of new customer account requests for new customer onboarding utilizing internal and external resources.
• Maintain and update customer account records including but not limited to, billing address, billing contact information, payment method, Saturday delivery, shipping routes and customer account status (reactivate, inactivate, deactivate).
• Work closely with Regulatory Compliance team to ensure all accounts are setup in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with Credit and A/R teams for appropriate handling of new and existing bill-to accounts.
• Maintain accurate and valid customer data and affiliations on an ongoing basis.
• Manage multiple email inboxes, ensuring inquires and requests are responded to in a professional and timely manner.
• Interpret and closely follow instructions and procedures.
• Assist with setting up and updating vendor records in JDE (Accounts Payable) as required.
• Assist with onboarding new customer accounts for Pharmacy, Andameds and Corporate divisions, including mass uploading records, as required.
• Assist with mass uploading data for existing customers.
• Assist with handling the intake of new customer applications and communicating process requirements internally and externally, via written and oral communication methods.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Your experience and qualifications
Education/Certification/Experience:
• High School diploma or equivalent, with minimum of one (1) year of experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals industry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum one (1) year of sales support or back-office experience.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to adapt to changes and shifting priorities.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and remain calm and focused in high demanding situations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Business English proficiency (spelling, grammar, and punctuation).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word).
• Problem-solving attitude.
