JOB TITLE: Sales & Marketing Coordinator REPORTS TO: Manager & Director

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Coordinate the marketing and sales activities to support Taiyo America’s Sales Department and Taiyo Circuit Automation team as directed by the Sales & Marketing Manager & Director. This marketing and sales coordinator position will require accurate and timely preparation and distribution of sales data and customer information to appropriate Taiyo personnel. Preparing all marketing activities that includes managing the content on the website, LinkedIn, and Newsletter as well as other tasks as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Maintain and update multiple websites, its content, and analytics
- Implement marketing and international trade show activities
- Implement promotional projects, such as Christmas cards, press releases, social media, advertising, newsletter
- Conduct English and Japanese translation for technical documentation works and in-person and virtual meetings
- Perform video recording and editing for company’s promotion and advertisement
- Computer data entry – centralized source for all sales documents, forms, and account information
- Create purchase orders
- Prepares sales reports
- Answer / route incoming telephone calls
- Maintain files for sales and technical information and forms
- Respond to or forward website inquiries to appropriate sales, marketing, or technical personnel
- Must always comply with all OSHA and company workplace safety requirements
OTHER DUTIES:
- Other duties as assigned from time to time.
- Maintain public notary status for company
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing and/or communication is required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position is preferred.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Ability to read, write and translate Japanese is a plus.
- Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication abilities
- Ability to manage a website and social media (LinkedIn)
- Good organizational skills

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Occasional weekend or overtime work.
- Occasional travel for business-related activities
