The purpose of this job is revenue generation with a focus on new customer acquisition - this is a “Hunter” role. The role will also include supervision of area operations.

- Establish and grow the Dealer Specialties brand throughout the market
- Provide solutions to the automotive dealership’s needs for inventory merchandising, on-the-lot data capture, data management, pricing guidance, video products, mobile solutions, and data distribution
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealerships and dealership groups
- Assist in the development/penetration of new products through daily and weekly visits with customers
- Provide direction and lead service managers and account representatives
- Manage and review P&L statements
- Coach and mentor the entire team
- Manage the performance of the market through employee performance reviews and daily quality checks
- Communicate vision and goals to the entire team and assist them with sales strategies
Contribute Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Two or more years of hunter and outside sales experience
- History of building a sales territory
- Excellent Internet knowledge and acquired web skills necessary
- Self-motivated and enjoys working in an autonomous environment
- Self-managed individual measured by agreed-upon activity objectives
- A minimum of two years of outside sales experience
- Leadership success of the Route/Sales team required
- Five or more years performing relationship management with team members and customers
- Two or more years of expertise in brand management
- Strengths and business competencies that include building effective teams, customer focus, drive for results, listening, problem-solving, decision quality, motivating others, integrity, and trust, priority setting
- Automotive experience required
This role offers a base salary of approximately $50-$55k annually plus bonus potential. Compensation factors include geography, experience, education, job demands, job market, etc. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account; 401k, matching up to 4% fully vested on day one of employment; paid vacation, company holidays, and sick leave; and corporate discount opportunities.
