Job Description:
As a Legal Intake Account Verifier, your primary role is to meticulously verify information, ensuring the creation of accurate client case profiles for individuals who have recently signed a retainer to act as plaintiffs in a lawsuit. Key duties include spell-checking, proofreading, and confirming addresses and personal details. Precision and attention to detail are paramount given the nature of these legal files.
A crucial aspect of this role involves rephrasing and clarifying survey questions to ensure that responses align with necessary criteria. Staying current with lawsuit-specific requirements is essential. The role also demands a keen eye for detail, professionalism, and the ability to identify and rectify mistakes. Strong grammar and punctuation skills are prerequisites for this position.
In this role, you're not just a verifier; you're an advocate, playing a key role in helping people who have suffered and who are victims. You ensure that a strong case is built to get these clients the settlement they deserve. The type of cases you would be working on include medical malpractice cases, cases where individuals were exposed to dangerous chemicals, victims of sexual abuse, police brutality cases, and other exciting types of cases.

Primary Duties:
1. Receiving inbound live transfers with a natural desire to help people.
2. Verifying client information for accuracy in client files while being vigilant to catch mistakes.
3. Ensuring compliance with qualifying criteria and upholding a strong moral compass.
4. Rewording notes for clarity to enhance communication effectiveness.
5. Addressing inquiries comprehensively and confirming responses, fostering a positive and professional environment while working collaboratively within a team setting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a call center and/or legal assistant role is preferred.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to sound trustworthy and professional over the phone.
- Proficiency in navigating multiple Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Excellent typing skills and adeptness in note-taking.
- Ability to speak with individuals in a productive and professional manner, demonstrating empathy when necessary.
- Strong command of grammar and punctuation, ensuring accurate and polished communication.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
