This company is hiring a Sales Manager to boost revenue growth through effective customer relationship management and promotion of their products and services. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and cultivate new market opportunities: Conduct comprehensive market research, analyze industry trends, and pinpoint emerging areas of growth for LED lighting solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic partnerships: Build and nurture relationships with key players in the industry, including ESCOs, Large ESP, distributors, - target accounts that can spend over $1mm
- Create and deliver compelling sales presentations: Articulate the value proposition of our LED lighting solutions to potential clients, effectively communicating their benefits and competitive advantages.
- Negotiate and secure lucrative contracts: Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to proposal development and contract negotiation, to secure profitable deals.
- Develop and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product development, sales) to design and execute effective strategies for market penetration and brand awareness.
- Manage a budget and achieve revenue targets: Set ambitious yet achievable goals, track progress through data analysis, and adjust strategies as needed to exceed expectations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technology: Continuously learn about emerging LED technologies, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to maintain a competitive edge.
- Utilize utility rebates & solution-based selling approach to educate customers on the benefits and features of our energy efficient products and services such as LED Lighting, Controls, Refrigeration, EV Chargers, etc.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, preferably within the lighting industry or a related field.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Deep understanding of the LED lighting industry and its applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Base Salary: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 - DOE
Total Earnings: $160,000.00 - $170,000.00
Locations: Chicago, IL
