Xometry's Supplier Services Sales Team is growing and we are ready to add to our sales management team! The Sales Manager, Business Development will be responsible for supervising and developing a team of Account Executives focused on new logo acquisition. You will be responsible for managing organizational sales by developing business plans, meeting and exceeding planned goals, and coordinating with our marketing department on lead generation. You will also be tasked with overseeing the activities and performance of your sales team by tracking goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitating the ongoing training and development of the team. This leader will have a span of control of 10 reporting directly to the VP, Supplier Services Sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, hire, train and manage an Account Executive team focused on new logo acquisition that exceeds goals
  • Create and document standard operating procedures
  • Ensure that the sales pipeline remains full of qualified leads & prospects
  • Coordinate with our Sales & Marketing teams to assist in lead generation and conversion strategies
  • Monitor employee productivity and motivate the team to reach daily goals
  • Ensure accurate and complete information is captured in our CRM, Salesforce
  • Supervise team in accordance with company policies & procedures
  • Conduct employee interviews, orientations, and hiring of staff
  • Prioritize a culture of continuous development to keep top talent engaged and motivated year-round
  • Report to senior management on sales metrics, opportunities, and threats
  • Develop your team through motivation, coaching and product knowledge education
  • Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of overall sales experience with 3+ years of experience managing and directing a team
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and implementing effective sales strategies
  • Knowledge of and experience in technical sales and manufacturing is heavily desired
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Dedication to providing great customer service
  • Ability to train, develop, grow and lead a sales team to success
  • Eager and driven to exceed goals
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and CRM tool implementations is heavily desired
