Job description

The Sales Manager position is a high energy leadership role requiring daily focus. Sales Manager shall create and maintain a culture of personal, professional, and financial growth designed to energize and inspire sales and support staff associates to consistently pursue mastery in their professional career and personal life. Sales Manager’s primary focus shall be on recruitment of quality, high caliber, established sales associates to foster continued market share and established culture standards of excellence.

Recruiting/Retention:

  • Recruitment: As part of established Manager Personal Business Plan, Sales Manager shall achieve established annual recruiting goals. Company recruits shall have a professional image consistent with the SIR brand, a minimum annual production of no less than $100,000 GCI or at least 8 - 10 closed transaction sides and the ability to succeed in the above-average price points and the luxury segment.
  • Association and Follow Up: Sales Manager shall work closely with support staff associates though the Association process including weekly follow up communication with recruit.
  • Retention/Growth: Sales Manager shall establish a cadence of consistent follow up (or flow) for both recruitment and retention. Sales Manager shall utilize the Manager’s Ninja 9 as their template. Sales Manager shall commit to an annual 10% agent growth model with no agent loss other than those that have been pro-actively disassociated.

Sales Associate Training and Coaching:

  • In-House Resource:Sales Manager shall serve as the office resource and sales associate support for all company utilized platforms, including, but not limited to: SIR and LRE brand tools, in-house marketing systems and services, Desert SIR intranet portal, Business tools, Desert SIR email and office tool platform, listing presentation materials, transaction management, and multiple listing services.
  • New System Training: Sales Manager shall organize, promote, and deliver necessary sales and systems trainings as new opportunities and additional support services are implemented within Desert SIR.
  • On-Going Training: Sales Manager shall construct, promote, and facilitate Desert SIR systems trainings, monthly, to support and serve sales associates at all career and technological skills levels as well as measure the results. Such skills training shall largely utilize the Ninja Selling, Sotheby’s International Realty and Luxury Real Estate brand resources.
  • Ninja Coaching:Sales Manager shall implement and lead weekly Ninja Skills groups and encourage sales associates in improving selling skills and performance.
  • Personal Business Plans:Sales Manager shall maintain an active, relevant, and implementable annual Personal Business Plan with each sales associate. Sales Manager will conduct a minimum quarterly one-on-one Personal Business Plan update with each sales associate to help them stay on track.
  • Active Coaching:Sales Manager shall support sales associates on key listing consultations and buyer interviews with an emphasis on the above-average price points and luxury market.

Business Development:

  • Market Strategies: Sales Manager shall regularly evaluate new market opportunities and support and train sales associates to address opportunities.
  • Industry/Community Involvement: Sales Manager shall continually strive to be actively involved in the industry and the community in a leadership capacity.
  • Company and SIR Networking:Sales Manager shall encourage and demonstrate strong participation in and support for company initiatives, events, and meetings inclusive of SIR brand opportunities throughout the network. Sales Manager shall further encourage the development of affiliate networking opportunities to increase the individual agent’s personal exposure to the SIR network.

Culture Standards:

  • Inspired Culture:Sales Manager shall embody Company’s culture by creating and maintaining an office environment where sales associates and support staff are inspired to experience personal, professional, and financial growth with an emphasis on the brand and Ninja Selling resources. Sales Manager shall inspire and coach agents to say on the Ninja Path though the Ninja Selling resources including regular Ninja Installations.
  • Lead by Example:Sales Manager shall lead by example in supporting Company’s use of preferred company products, services, and networks.
  • Office Atmosphere: Sales Manager shall coordinate office events, in collaboration with the leadership team for networking, team building and re-establishment of company culture.
  • Availability:Sales Manager shall communicate their weekly schedule to sales and support staff associates and respond in a timely manner via established communication methods. Sales Manager shall establish coverage in the event they are out of the office.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $100K - $200K inclusive of an established base and recruitment goals that are established by the Market Leader and Sales Manager
  • In addition to base pay, Desert SIR provides employees with the opportunity to select coverage under a comprehensive benefits program including medical, dental, life, accidental death and dismemberment, short-term and long-term disability, 401(k) and other plans.
  • Full-Time employees are eligible for Vacation and Sick Time in accordance with our Paid Time Off Policy. Additionally, Desert SIR observes 12 paid holidays.
  • Hours are 8:30 - 5:00PM, Monday thru Friday
