About the Position
The Sales Manager is responsible for the overall sales and census development across all lines of business. Working in conjunction with current marketing initiatives, the SM will create and execute monthly business development opportunities to ensure marketing and sales sustainability and growth. The SM will partner with the Community Liaisons to achieve occupancy goals and expand market reach increasing market share. The SM will ensure positive resident admission experiences and transitions into the organization across all SNF’s, IL, AL, HT, and Recovery lines of business. The SM will work in coordination with the Community Liaisons and other members of the organization’s interdisciplinary team to aid in the delivery of excellent customer service, positive public relations, and resident experiences.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Attention to detail and teamwork with the following and all other duties and responsibilities assigned.
1. Work in conjunction with the interdisciplinary teams of The Orchards, Harvest Therapy, and Cedar House Recovery lines of business to train and develop impactful business development positions and strategies and across all business lines.
2. Act as a connection between the business development team and the operational team to ensure regulatory compliance, a positive customer entrance, and payer source are all achieved prior to and upon admission.
3. Assist in the development of sales goals, collection, and analysis of sales data, to ensure continued occupancy and sales success.
4. Execute marketing and sales action plans to aid in overall census and sales development.
5. Monitor, modify, and evaluate successful sales strategy processes and execution ensuring efficient use of company resources to timely respond to potential residents, families, and referral partner inquiries.
6. Develop training programs for the organizations’ business development representative’s success and growth.
7. Develop and execute community outreach programs broadening brand awareness, service amenities awareness, and positive company perception.
8. Grow referral and sales volume through secondary and tertiary market opportunity expansion capturing market share and expanding territory reach.
9. Must demonstrate leadership capability to effectively inspire facility staff in meeting the goal of providing quality resident care.
10. Manage facility inquiries in a timely and efficient manner, distribute literature, and conduct tours as required.
11. Assist with the development and monitoring of the department budget.

Computer Skills
Spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, and publishing software, Internet, and computer research techniques. PCC, CRM, and Behave effective data management and manipulation and interpretation of collected metrics.

Medical Screenings
Physical upon hire and Tuberculosis testing are required annually.

Requirements:Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree or Diploma in Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Marketing, or related field; 1 year experience in nursing facility admissions or other sales; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of reimbursement programs such as Medicare as well as managed care plans. Clinical education or experience is preferred.
