Summary: This is a full-time position for 8 weeks, working with a Relationship Manager. The intern will obtain hands on experience in the Sales cycle by shadowing and/or assisting with the various steps in the process. The Intern will be responsible for completing a project at the direction of their supervisor and present their findings at the end of the program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Relationship Manager in day to day client servicing
- Learn to develop relationships with clients, team members and vendor partners
- Assist with fact finds, meeting presentations and special projects
- Assist with prospecting lists
- Assist with underwriting requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
- Demonstrated leadership experience in college, community, internship, or co-op experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Be able to initiate and follow through with independent projects
- Excellent communication (verbal and writing) and interpersonal skills
- Cultivating relationship ability
- Strong problem solving ability
- Customer service oriented
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Education and/or Experience:
- Junior or senior of a four-year university preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registration:
- Life & Health license and FINRA registration preferred
