Gourmet Boutique is an established and rapidly growing food manufacturer, committed to delivering premium quality products to retailers and consumers nationwide. With a focus on innovation and excellence, we are expanding our team and seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to drive growth through strategic partnerships with major retailers, distributors, and food service groups across the U.S.
Position Overview:
As a Sales Executive at Gourmet Boutique, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and driving revenue through the effective sales of our food products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully selling food products to major retailers, distributors, and food service groups. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a sales hunter with excellent professional selling skills and a strong network of buyer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and pursue new opportunities with major retailers, distributors, and food service groups throughout the United States.
· Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective negotiation and strategic account management.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key buyers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that align with our product offerings.
· Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for growth.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales related role in the food industry (prefer Deli, Meat, or Prepared Foods categories)
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Exceptional sales hunting skills with strong ability to generate new business opportunities
· Established network of buyer relationships within Grocery, C-store, QSR, Mass, or Club channels
· Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
· Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
· Willingness to travel as needed
