Position Overview:
The Sales Executive is responsible for owning the complete business to business sales process including prospecting, cold calling, lead generation, sourcing new business opportunities, and most importantly, closing deals. The ideal candidate for this position is a highly motivated self-starter who thrives in a highly detail-oriented job with B2B experience. In this role you will start by learning market demands, industry sales techniques, brand awareness, social media marketing, network building, and new market development. As this role progresses you will be responsible for leading the company’s sales and marketing function in multi-family and new build sector of the market with a crossover into commercial in the future. You will be responsible for the Orlando, Gainesville and Tallahassee markets. We are a capitalist driven organization; the better we do, the better you do. The ideal candidate will have established sales experience delivering the highest professional dedication and performance. This is an outside sales position and will require you to be in your markets meeting with potential clients and collecting market data in person on a weekly/monthly basis. This position will require a focus on networking and the ability to join the local chamber and associations. Attending events within the community and choosing organizations to further promote our company, solidify business relationships and overall expansion will be required during evening hours and possibly some weekends.
Key Duties:
- Thoughtful execution of the company’s sales strategy to meet revenue goals.
- Create, manage, and close prospects through the company’s defined sales cycle.
- Cultivate new leads in the company’s defined new market expansion
- Effectively engage with potential customers via in-person, email, phone, LinkedIn, or other means
- Attend industry events, customer conferences, and participate in business development networking.
- Document sales process and progress through Company CRM
- Be able to research and navigate through a company to find decision makers.
- Spend time at the company’s headquarters collaborating with the Customer Service and Operations Departments to determine operational provisioning demands.
- Create detailed quotes through Company proposal generating software.
- Conduct detailed security site assessments to understand customer’s concerns.
- Forecast calendar to highlight meetings, sales planning, and other company time
commitments.
- Apply judgment in managing day-to-day sales resources and time allocation.
- Attend zoom meetings each week with sales team creating and managing targeted
marketing efforts to build brand exposure and increase sales.
-Communicate market trends and customer responses to the Chief Operating Officer

Keys to being successful:
As an S3 Security Sales Executive, your goal is to manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closure. This is done through numerous strategic methods including cold calling, in-market door-to-door prospecting, attending trades shows, networking, and building relationships with key players in our industry. In order to be successful you should expect/be willing to:
- Make 10 – 15 outbound visits/calls per day to prospective customers
- Connect weekly (or more often) in person with in-process customer prospects to identify needs and follow-up on current proposals
- Find and develop new sales-leads to continually fill your sales pipeline
- Vet potential customers to ensure they meet the company’s target customer criteria
- 60-day market ramp up period upon hiring defined by your sales manager

Minimal Qualifications:
- Accredited Bachelor’s degree preferred; at least two years of additional related work
experience may be considered in substitution
- Exceptional verbal, written, and telephone communication skills
- High level of competitiveness, positive attitude, and an eagerness to learn
- Ability to generate original solutions to business opportunities and challenges
- Actively participate in team activities to strengthen the company’s culture
- Excellent systems skills – CRM, MS Office, Social Media, Google Suite
- Ability to manage time, reach decision-makers, and quickly determine opportunity potential
- Must be customer focused, confident, willing to learn, and goals driven.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Typical hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 45+ hours per week.
This role requires proactive and reactive administrative response capabilities during non-business hours and requires both time in the office and time in the field.
Travel
· This position requires 50% travel to Gainesville and Tallahassee.
Travel around the Orlando area.
Work Authorization
· This position requires a comprehensive criminal background check, DHSMV check, reference check, credit check, and educational transcripts.

Salary: From $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year with
Uncapped Commission structure.
