Sales Education Lead, PATTERN Beautyat Beach House Group Headquarters in Los Angeles
PATTERN Beauty is looking for an experienced, organized, & driven Sales Education Lead. Reporting into VP of Marketing, the Sales Education Lead of PATTERN will bring Pattern Beauty products, tools and mission to life in the retail spaces by managing, training and leading a small but mighty brand ambassador team. With the goal of exceeding the beauty needs of the curly, coily & tight textured customer as well as educating store associates to empower & celebrate textured hair, this role is a reflection of the brand's ethos and must demonstrate a passion for this community. In addition, the individual will be responsible for building & elevating events and training at store level by delivering high level facilitation (small to large scale) and coaching the team in the moment. Will receive general direction & guidance but must be able to work in a highly collaborative & detail-oriented environment and function as a mission-driven individual contributor.
As the Sales Education Lead, you will continually educate and develop Beauty Advisors to elevate our brand experience, while increasing sales and productivity in our retail partners. The Sales & Education Lead will support education strategies for Pattern US retail channels including but not limited to: ULTA, Sephora, Macy's, and select hair salons.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be the education subject matter expert for Sales Education
- Build, manage & scale the Sales Education program for the brand
- Provide ongoing recommendation and analysis in education related topics such as: brand experience, coaching, in-store training, sanitation/hygiene, services & products, and selling strategies
- Educate Sephora/ULTA/Specialty accounts with a focus on product knowledge & selling skills
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, focusing on product sell-through and a mix of business in top doors.
- Regularly review training effectiveness and respond to opportunities through education adjustments
- Engage consumers in the brand and focus on direct selling efforts when possible
- Provide continual communication of any store concerns, stock concerns, product issues, space and location challenges
- Lead by example by championing PATTERN's service standards, the brand experience, and demonstrating PATTERN's values
- Build strong and meaningful relationships with key personnel at retailers
- Provide exceptional service to assigned store accounts
- Drive sales and achieve sales targets
- Assist with all other duties assigned.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Experience with Beauty Retailers (Sephora, Ulta and Macy's) or Salons
- 4+ years of retail sales or education management preferably in the cosmetic industry
- Proven ability to coach and manage teams, demonstrated by positive sales/service performance
- Excellent collaboration, presentation, communication, time management and administrative skills
- Able to facilitate training workshops, ensuring maximized participant learning and understanding of content
- Proof of insurance, reliable means of transportation, current and valid driver's license to travel to all assigned accounts and stores to service territory
- Experience in creating and adapting training programs for local territory
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 80%)
- Interest and knowledge in the hair care industry
- Passion and joyful enthusiasm for PATTERN Beauty and/or curly, coily & tight-textured hair
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000
