We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, marketing, or sales strategy and proficiency in technical tools such as Excel, IRI, Panel Data, and Customer POS, as well as extensive experience with Walmart Retail Link, Luminate systems, and Sam’s Club Madrid.
Responsibilities:
- Provide analytic support and deliver actionable tracking reports, including:
- Luminate data product/item management
- Retail Link and IRI Consumption data analysis
- Collaborate with the Walmart/Sam’s sales team and internal Sofidel teams to:
- Enter key metrics and information into internal and customer tools
- Complete customer templates and new item, facility, and other customer-required forms
- Provide contract support
- Ensure timely completion of customer data entry requirements for Private Brands by:
- Managing the update of technical information & specifications
- Responsible for competitive and marketplace intelligence, analysis, and reporting, including:
- Share and price gap reporting
- Develop and utilize category management insights to:
- Generate business development strategies and tactics
- Drive private brand development
- Serve as the 2nd in charge on the accounts with a heavy emphasis on analytics
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, and consumer behavior using Retail Link and IRI Consumption Data
- Generate actionable insights and recommendations to optimize sales strategies and drive business growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales plans and initiatives
- Prepare and present reports and presentations to internal stakeholders, including senior management
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis as needed to support business objectives
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in sales analytics
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales/marketing/sales strategy experience.
- Proficiency in Excel, IRI, Panel Data, and Customer POS.
- Experience with Walmart Retail Link, Luminate systems, and Sam’s Club Madrid.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Previous experience working with Walmart, preferably in private label or CPG industry.
- Ability to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to diverse audiences.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be a results-oriented team manager.
- Intellectual curiosity and a passion for driving business results.
