This is a full-time Sales position with a sales background, hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand

Position purpose
The role includes being responsible for generation of sales and related activities, including but not limited to prospecting, lead generation, presentations, handling objections, follow up, account maintenance and closing the sale as directed. The Business Development Team develops and implements agreed upon Marketing Plan which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer base in the marketing area. Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values. Performs any other tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
- Responsible for generating, improving, and maintaining relationships with Brokers, Franchisors, Lenders, Centers of Influence, etc. (Accounts) that generate referrals and clients for our services.
- Demonstrates superior selling skills and product knowledge in all areas to endure effective presentations of Benetrends’ services via the telephone, written communication and in person communication.
- Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with referring accounts, clients and decision makers.
- Demonstrates superior knowledge of the competition and is able to use it effectively in illustrating our competitive advantages to Accounts and prospective clients.
- Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the taking of market share from competitors and other providers of funding or financial services.
- Provides effective feedback communication to referring Accounts about their referrals.
- Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers to satisfy their needs.
- Develops, and consistently grows, a database of qualified Accounts and leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on, direct mail, email, and networking.
- Responsible for sourcing and developing Account relationships and referrals.
- Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities, requested reports, including the use of Microsoft Outlook to maintain accurate records to maximize sales potential as well as CRM platforms
- Maintains effective use and knowledge of existing lead management system.
- Submits reports and performs requested tasks on time and without the need for repeated requests.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Participates and contributes to the development of educational programs offered to clients, prospects and company employees.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in consultative sales, ideally to manager and executives.
- Extensive experience in developing long term client relationships and repeat business.
- Extensive experience in prospecting and generating leads.
- Willingness to travel and work throughout the United States – 25% Travel
- Proven ability to achieve sales quotas.
