We are looking for Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team! The Sales Consultant sells automobiles by understanding and demonstrating characteristics, capabilities, and features; by developing and qualifying buyers; and by closing sales.

What You'll Do:

• Understands automobiles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features; by comparing and contrasting competitive models; and by inspecting automobiles
• Develops buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers, suggesting trade-ins, meeting prospects at community activities, greeting drop-ins, responding to inquiries, and recommending sales campaigns and promotions
• Qualifies buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests, matching requirements and interests to various models, and building rapport
• Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking drives; and explaining warranties and services
• Closes sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating price; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing; collecting payment; and delivering automobile.
• Provides sales management information by completing reports
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications
• Enhances dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
• Maintains CRM follow up processes and loads all customers into Dealership CRM
• Greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
• Completes and maintains all CRM procedures and follow-up processes
• Handles customer complaints or escalates when necessary
• Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed
• Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
• Coordinates and works with coworkers and team members
• Follows all safety and security procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:

• One year of relevant automotive sales experience preferred
• Strong phone, internet, and computer skills, including a CRM and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Valid driver's license
• Vehicle knowledge a must
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as a member of a team
• Dedication to punctuality and attendance is vital
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
• High level of professionalism
• Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
