Job Summary:
Join iFLY in igniting the spark of curiosity and innovation through education! At iFLY, we are passionate about the boundless opportunities that STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education holds. We are on the hunt for a zealous Sales and Community Outreach Specialist to bolster our STEM sales initiatives. Your role will be to work with the Sales Team to orchestrate and oversee open houses and workshops targeted at key stakeholders within the education sector. By coordinating these events, you will play a critical role in promoting and elevating the iFLY STEM program customer base.

Headquartered in Austin, Texas, iFLY Indoor Skydiving is a global company with 33 (and growing) owned tunnel locations across the US and 88 tunnels worldwide. We are continually growing our STEM programs and are looking to add enthusiastic team members that share our passion about STEM and flying!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage an in-depth understanding of the STEM program and market research to articulate how our program caters to the needs of educational entities.
  • Engage and build rapport with decision-makers to initiate and foster participation in open houses and workshops.
  • Seamlessly execute the logistics of open houses, ensuring an immersive and captivating experience for all attendees.
  • Cultivate and manage a pipeline of prospective clients and collaborate with the sales team for subsequent engagements.
  • Continually evaluate and refine strategies to bolster engagement with the iFLY STEM program through open houses and workshops.
  • Collaborate synergistically with the sales team to pinpoint key decision-makers in the education domain.
  • Take charge of the logistics for open houses and workshops, encompassing scheduling, dispatching invitations, follow-ups, and on-site coordination.
  • Employ CRM tools, phone outreach, emails, and other communication avenues to connect with prospective clients and spur participation in events.
  • Forge and nurture enduring relationships with decision-makers and educational establishments.
  • Solicit feedback from attendees and integrate insights to enhance future events.
  • Provide sales managers with weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports, along with insights on participation and engagement in open houses.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales support, event coordination, or a similar role.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Capability to work autonomously, adeptly juggling multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Outstanding organizational and logistical prowess, coupled with a keen eye for detail.
  • Elementary understanding of STEM education and its significance.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools is plus but not necessary.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or commensurate work experience.
  • Prior experience in educational sales or programs a plus but not necessary.
  • Proven success in event coordination or similar sales experience.
  • A burning passion for education and empowering the next generation through STEM.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools is plus but not necessary.
  • Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively.
  • High level of integrity and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
