Job Duties:
- Prospect, qualify and expand a diverse portfolio of client accounts.
- Execute outbound sales initiatives via phone, email, social media, and face-to-face interactions.
- Uphold the profit margin for all assigned accounts.
- Manage the entire sales process from initiation to completion. There is an Account Management team who will farm the accounts for future orders, questions, etc.
- Partner with internal teams and regional sales director to strategize and execute account plans.
- Discuss growth opportunity within new food packaging programs for clients.
- Keep up to date with current product and industry knowledge, as well as client background details.
- Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, developments, and innovations.
- Travel 10% - trade shows or in person client meetings
Requirements:
- Must have a HUNTER mentality - willing to cold call and gain new business
- 1+ years of NEW Business Development or account management experience - must WANT to do new business sales. This is NOT an account manager role.
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HubSpot is a plus!
- Industry experience in food packaging is a plus!
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Additional Info:
- Pay: $50,000 to $80,000 salary depending on experience level
- Option: after 1 year in this role, you have the opportunity to transition into an uncapped commission only pay structure. This is based off of the sales made to your gained accounts / new accounts made in your first year and beyond! Average OTE is $200k to $500k.
