Sales Specialist (Inside/Outside) B2B
Join us and be a part of our growth! An exciting opportunity available with a locally owned sheet-metal manufacturing shop located in Yakima, WA, is seeking a full-time Inside Sales Specialist.
Sales Specialist (Inside/Outside) Key responsibilities include:
- B2B sales experience required
- Inside Sales experience in an office/manufacturing environment.
- Identifying and pursuing leads for potential customers within our criteria.
- Planning effective sales calls and maintaining a regular call schedule.
- Selling our manufacturing services to both new and existing customers.
- Balancing sales efforts to keep our weekly production backlog full without overselling our available capacity.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance margins and overall throughput.
- Developing in-depth knowledge of our services and capabilities, including CNC laser cutting, press brake forming, welding, sandblasting, and powder coating.
- Training to support price estimation and quoting for new part orders.
- Receiving and managing requests for quotes from new customers.
- Handling incoming sales calls.
- Providing accurate lead times to customers
- Inputting sales and quoting data into our ERP system.
- Maintaining a positive attitude and strong rapport with customers.
- Ensuring clean and organized work areas.
- Adhering to all company rules, policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Collaborating with the team, embracing change, and actively contributing to continuous improvement.
- Supporting other projects as required by the Sales Manager.
- Opportunities for cross-training, skill development, and contributing to various aspects of the business are available.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); scheduling appointments/updating calendars
- Previous experience as an office assistant or in a related field
- Strong written communication skills and ability to assist with word processing.
- Warm personality with effective communication skills
- Ability to work well under limited supervision.

Preferred Experience:
- Understanding of basic mechanical and manufacturing techniques
- Minimum three years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Compensation: $20 – $25 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm with occasional overtime.
