RetireOne is looking for a full-time Sales Associate to be responsible for handling business processing tasks as part of the Sales team. The Sales Associate will handle pre-sales annuity illustrations, run annuity comparisons, fill out annuity applications, update paperwork, and perform other general business processing duties. We are looking for someone who has an insurance/financial services background and has a desire to further their career in this industry. Knowledge of annuity and life insurance products, systems and processes is important for this role. While this position offers a base salary only, we are looking for someone who wants to continue to develop their skills and eventually grow into a sales role, which would include a base salary as well as variable compensation with unlimited upside. An annual bonus is also possible, based on employee and company performance. As part of the development plan for this position, if the individual who is hired is not registered with FINRA or does not hold a life health license, RetireOne will sponsor the individual by paying for study materials and exam fees.
This full-time, remote position reports to the Manager of the internal sales desk. The individual may reside anywhere in the continental U.S., must be able to work from home, and must be available during normal business hours (8am-5pm ET).
The Day-to-Day:
Receive and prioritize requests from members of the sales team.
Create, maintain, and accurately enter client/case information into various illustration software and application databases.
Follow-up with sales team and advisors via phone and/or email providing updates and requesting missing information.
Populate salesforce.com with details of activity.
Perform general office business processing duties.
Qualifications
1-5 years in the financial services industry
Proficient in computer software applications including Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce.com is a plus
Comfortable handling confidential information
Multi-tasking and time management skills
Ability to work well under limited supervision
Extremely high attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Experience in a sales or sales support role is a plus
High school diploma is required; college degree is preferred
