What You'll Be Doing

The Sales Associate (SA) provides product in-service training for the Patient Support Systems portfolio (Smartbeds, surfaces & other medical devices) in a hospital setting to support product optimization. The SA also supports territory sales activities and assists with training new sales team members when needed. The SA ensures educational programs meet corporate and customer goals and acts as a liaison between the team and customers.

• Work directly alongside the sales team and customers
• Participate in delivery/implementation planning activities (customer meetings, conference calls, WebEx training, etc.)
• Assist in driving new sales opportunities while helping maintain existing business
• Meet monthly/quarterly/annual quotas assigned by the corporation
• Conduct negotiations and finalize sales
• Lead all aspects of the installation of new products post-delivery to the customers

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Two + years of experience, preferably in sales
• Outstanding communication skills and public speaking
• High level of motivation, drive, resilience, dedication, and integrity
• Excellent influential skills
• Ability to implement strong strategy plans, and to bring tasks to completion

Travel Requirements

• Travel up to 75%, with overnight regional travel expected, and occasional National travel possible
• Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and be able to drive an automobile

Territory for this position is New York City, Albany, and Syracuse. Residence within the territory is required.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $52,800 to $132,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for commission.
