In this role, you’ll be reporting to the Boston Store manager and will be responsible for customer sales, customer service and creating good vibes.
Hourly Rate: $17.00 - $17.50
Summary: Assisting the Sales Leads, Assistant Managers and Sales Floor Managers, this position is responsible for customer sales, customer service and working to meet sales goal targets.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Deliver sales, customer experience and operational expectations as outlined by your lead associates, assistant and store managers.*
- Embody the standards, character & best procedures of the brand.*
- Expand product knowledge and sales technique, with coaching from the assistant managers on a weekly basis.*
- Maintains awareness of all product carried by Bodega and educated oneself on current and upcoming products/trends.*
- Connect with every customer by asking open-ended questions to assess customer needs.*
- Ability to learn and share expertise of products and trends to fit customer needs.*
- Cultivate Customer base & clientele.*
- Build and maintain productivity goals.*
- Work to meet all sales targets as communicated by management.*
- Follow cash handling & register procedures and lead by example of store associates.*
- Administers necessary inventory control related duties under the direction of store leadership.*
- Other duties as identified and assigned.*
- Lead by example in an ethical manner, offering training and coaching to sales floor associates with less experience
