Responsibilities of Sales Associate:
- Achieving individual goals and assisting Store Manager in ensuring the store meets its sales plan
- Implementing all visual merchandising standards and operational direction
- Ensuring that standards are being followed including floor sets, cleanliness, marketing, signage and promotions
- Helping create and maintaining merchandise presentation and displays that have impact, are customer focused and maximize sales
- Greeting each customer visiting the store in a warm and genuinely sincere manner
- Spending the appropriate quality time with the customer, asking questions in order to learn about his/hers needs, preferences and lifestyle
- Build rapport, develop and expand customer relationships with each customer
Requirements for the Sales Associate position:
- Prior retail/sales experience preferred for Sales Associate position
- Excellent interpersonal, creative problem solving and time management skills
- Superior customer service techniques
- Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to regularly ascend/descend ladder and/or stairs
- Attention to detail and good listening skills
- High energy and positive attitude
- Must be receptive to feedback and constructive criticism from the management team
- Willingness and ability to follow directives promptly and thoroughly
- Open availability is a plus-Reliable transportation
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $16.78 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
