Job description

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Sales and Service Product Owner to join our Gore Performance Solutions (GPS) Sales and Marketing IT Team. In this role, you will be working within the GPS Sales and Service agile team, accountable for the Workstream, which leverages Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud as its primary platform. The GPS Sales and Service team practices Scaled Agile (“SAFe”) methodologies. This role will be working as part of a Scrum team and will own the team backlog and be responsible for prioritizing and executing against that backlog based on a GPS Sales and Sales Operations overall vision.

This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within the United States.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with GPS business and IT stakeholders on the execution of the GPS Sales and Service workstream, leveraging the Salesforce platform
  • Lead a Scrum Team as Product Owner, partnering with a Scrum Master to ensure facilitation of all agile events and user story delivery
  • Participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning events once a quarter as a lead for the GPS Sales and Service workstream
  • Coordinate and lead discovery meetings with stakeholders, IT leaders and other Product Owners to understand the complex interactions between GPS Sales and Service with areas such as Ecommerce and adjacent and interdependent Products

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years experience with Sales Operations processes and Customer Relationship Management solutions
  • Minimum 2 years experience with implementing or leading upgrades to Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud that align with defined business strategies
  • Knowledge around CRM as a strategy and how Sales operations integrate with Service (call center support, call workflow, etc.)
  • Familiarity with agile ways of working
  • Strong business analysis, project management, and communication skills
  • Ability & willingness to travel nationally and internationally 15%

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years of working in Scrum and holding a current Scrum Product Owner Certification
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Salesforce implementations
  • Working experience/knowledge with SAP
