Job Description
This position will work with staff and third-party venders to develop and achieve profitability and company growth objectives. Ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication, continued employee development and team building, as well as improving employee – customer relationships. This position will report to the CEO.
Responsibilities
This position requires the ability to develop and demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all required Federal, State and Company policies. Demonstrate attention to detail, able to make good judgements quickly and the ability to multi-task.
- Maintain a core customer base from each profit center.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and influencers.
- Responsible for sales results through the Propane, Refined Fuels, Retail, and Feed & Agronomy sales team using motivation, counseling, skills development, and product knowledge development.
- Develop marketing strategies for user acquisition, retention, and revenue growth, combining digital and traditional approaches.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies.
- Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns, including Google Ads and social media platforms.
- Develops relationships with key vendors and works with them to implement marketing programs that create profitable business growth.
- Apply SEO and content marketing best practices to increase website traffic.
- Oversee email marketing campaigns.
- Analyze campaign performance using analytics tools and make data-driven adjustments.
- Stay updated on current digital marketing trends and best practices.
- Consistently report on key performance metrics and provide insights.
- Plan and execute traditional marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
- Implement direct mail campaigns as an integral part of the marketing strategy.
- Manage public relations efforts, including press releases, media outreach, and relationship building with relevant publications and journalists.
- Implement and monitor sales metrics, applications, processes, policies, and procedures.
- Supervise and manage team through training and clear job assignment.
- Complete employee performance reviews according to Company policies.
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that will lead to profitable growth.
- Works with company marketing and advertising staff to develop, as well as implement sales programs for each business unit.
- Supports and participates in the development of safety, compliance practices and policies.
- Review monthly equipment/vehicle inspection reports, monthly inventory reports, mileage/fuel reports, repairs, and company expenditures.
- Cultivate and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
- Ensure liquid products and services are provided to customers in a safe, efficient, and customer-oriented manner, consistent with Company policies, as well as with Federal and State Regulations.
- Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data.
Requirements:Preferred Education and Experience
· Experience in developing and executing marketing plans.
· Thorough understanding of social media.
· Energy industry experience.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
· 4 year degree in Marketing, Public Relations or Advertising.
· 3 years of industry experience.
· 3 years of experience in supervision.
· 3 years of experience in developing and executing marketing plans.
