Essential Duties
• Receive and process customer requests for product, design, pricing, delivery, and installation
• Travel to meet with customers to determine specific needs and scope of work
• Provide design drawings that satisfy both the customers and vendors requirements
• Secure the purchase order from the customer and coordinate the project and delivery requirements with TMI post order operations personnel
• Organize and manage sales sample inventory
• Maintain customer contacts with past and future customers to determine present needs
• Develop and maintain a national contractor customer communication's database.
• Organize and facilitate virtual and live customer recruitment and training activities.
• Develop and maintain customer sales support information.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have a general working knowledge of architectural plans, layout, space planning, and the ability to interpret marketing and sales promotional materials. • Education and/or Experience
Business Administration, Construction Management, Interior Design, and Drafting and Estimating Technology; or equivalent construction and manufacturing experience.
• Computer Software Skills
Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD or similar design software, Adobe Suite, CorelDRAW, Photo shop, Lightroom, Canva or similar software, Website and Social Media software, Contact Management software, Order Processing, Manufacturing and Project Management software.
• Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals, research journals, contracts, safety standards and specifications. Ability to write clear reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, staff, and the public.
• Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as price, discounts, commissions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic math, algebra, and geometry.
• Reasoning Ability
Ability to understand and to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to work with problems involving concrete and abstract variables.
