Job description

Position Information
A Temporary/Seasonal Intern, part-time/full-time non-benefitted position. No prior experience in agriculture is necessary but a positive attitude, willingness to work hard, and detail-oriented individual with team spirit is.
Description & Details: Candidate is required to work in both lab and field settings.
Responsibilities include:
  • Cleaning, counting, weighing, and packaging Seed
  • Planting and taking care of plants
  • Data Collecting and weed management (hoeing, hand pooling)
  • Mowing
  • Plant sample collection, harvesting, and sample processing
  • Cleaning lab/office spaces, state fleet, and equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. No prior experience in agriculture is necessary but a positive attitude, willingness to work hard, and detail-oriented individual with team spirit is.
