Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for aSales Administrator to join our Yamaha Golf Car team in Kennesaw, GA.The position will support a customer-focused approach to managing and maintaining sales programs as assigned by the Business Development Manager. This approach will include a focus on program set-up, administration, maintenance, and order entry (as needed). Additional responsibilities will include management of dealer allocations and collaboration with the Specialty Vehicle Center (SVC) and YGC Logistics teams to support dealer order confirmations, order processing, invoicing and shipping. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work with all team members to support completion of projects is required.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage/maintain sales programs as assigned by Business Development Manager with focus on program set-up, administration, maintenance, order entry (as needed) and management of dealer allocations.
- Collaborate with the Specialty Vehicle Center and YGC Logistics teams to support, dealer sales order confirmations, order processing, invoicing and shipping. Primary goal is to achieve production, invoicing and shipping of units as customer originally configured and requested as delivery date.
- Collaborate with the Specialty Vehicle Center team to support dealer sales in the event of production changes and disruptions. Review situations with the Business Development Manager to create strategic actions that minimize impacts to YGC and dealer sales/profit.
- Provide detailed order program reports to YGC management, field staff and internal support groups. Work with Yamaha Golf Car team to develop and activate solutions for consistent improvement.
- Co-manage inventory and daily sales tracking tool for Dealer business unit. Goal is accuracy in fulling order to dealer and confirm ending inventory.
- Develop dealer sales programs, bulletins, price lists and coordinate dealer communications.
- Support development and funding of incentive and co-op programs for dealer sales. Oversee Co-Op Claims appeals process, including approval/denial decision making authority and communicating recommendations to YGC management as needed
- Review/update of Co-Op Advertising Guidelines as needed. Requires ongoing familiarity and investigation of Co-op Advertising Guidelines for competitor brands and recommending any needed changes to make Yamaha's program competitive
- Act as liaison with internal company departments and outside vendors for system/program requests troubleshooting as needed.
- Prioritize work and develop a plan of action to maximize dealer business efficiency and support customer-focused culture
What you need to be successful:
- +5 years of general office work experience.
- +5 years of sales administration experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, SAP, Business Objects programs required.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail necessary.
- 10% Travel required to conduct dealer business, events, activities
