Sales Account Manager - Grocery & Natural Sector
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Account Manager to oversee multiple clients' Sales Accounts, focusing on the Grocery/Drug-Natural sector. This role is pivotal in creating new sales opportunities for multiple clients and expanding existing business through strategic sales funnel building and effective CRM management. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, the Sales Account Manager will be instrumental in executing sales plans, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Execution: Implement sales plans provided by the VP of Sales to achieve targeted objectives.
- Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, conducting weekly reviews of sales activity and promotional plans.
- Prospect Engagement: Identify buyer contact information, utilize CRM for prospect management, and engage with prospects through emails and calls to present client product lines.
- CRM Management: Keep the CRM system updated with all sales activities, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of sales efforts.
- Sales Broker Coordination: Manage relationships with sales brokers, including potential weekly calls to align on sales strategies and objectives.
- Reporting and Collaboration: Provide regular updates to the VP of Sales through weekly calls and manage video calls with prospects to promote client offerings.
Specific Job Duties:
- Develop and maintain a robust sales funnel to identify and engage with potential clients.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage prospect information, sales activities, and outcomes effectively.
- Present and negotiate promotional plans to prospects and clients.
- Coordinate with sales brokers to extend market reach and enhance sales efforts.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment and address any issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to sales management.
- Minimum of three (3) years of prior experience in Sales, preferably within the Food industry.
- Proficiency in CRM management, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace, and video call platforms.
- Excellent organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and initiative in addressing complex challenges.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, calculators, and telephones.
- College degree
