Assist the NFPA 70E Specialist team to review, evaluate, and analyze work environments and equipment safety (electrical equipment). Help coordinate electrical equipment safety programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent injury. Support in the facilitation of management's enforcement and adherence to laws and regulations governing the health and safety of individuals, and comply with corporate safety program standards.
Responsibilities:
Visit various job sites, by the request of a manager or at random. Learn how to interact with field staff and leadership, identify various compliance and safety issues, specific to electrical maintenance.
Respond as a resource of information to employee questions and issues regarding safety
Assist Safety Team in developing NFPA 70E topics for Branch safety meetings and monthly safety talks
Participate in accident investigations and review meetings to determine and communicate root causes for future prevention
