- Ensures procedures are in place to achieve process and occupational safety management objectives
- Develops and reviews safety and health standards and procedures
- Facilitates and participates in high-consequence incident investigations and hazard/near misses
- Works with Operations Management and coordinates with appropriate support groups to ensure all Process Safety Information (PSI) is available and compliant
- Facilitates the process tied to a serious incident investigation
- Trains, develops and presents on any safety matter or new regulation to company partners
- Develops expertise in a specialized area within or across various fields
- Understands ICS and provides input to any part of an emergency action plan
- Performs industrial hygiene activities under the direction of an industrial hygiene professional
- Leads audits at any location

- Required: Bachelor’s degree and minimum twelve (12) years of progressive experience in safety or a safety related role
- Preferred: Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar recognized Occupational Safety & Health Certification(s) or CCPS (Process Safety Professional Certification)
- Willing to travel up to 50%

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
- Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
