Overview: We are looking a Safety Coordinatorwho is responsible for developing and implementing safety programs, policies, and procedures. This positions also responsible for ensuring continuous compliance with federal and state level OSHA safety regulations. The Safety Coordinatorleads safety training in assigned markets by identifying training needs, development and conducting training sessions and measuring training events.
Responsibilities:
- Develop processes and procedures for continuous compliance with all safety regulations.
- Advise team leaders and human resource on safety initiatives and programs.
- Direct teams to develop record keeping processes that ensure continuous compliance with all applicable OSHA regulations.
- Provide training on safety regulations to all appropriate leaders and team members.
- Negotiates terms and agreements with state and/or federal OSHA regulator if necessary.
- Assisting in preparing annual strategy planning and hefty reports.
- Provides leadership to safety committees.
- Responsible for leading the equipment inspection processes for both new and existing equipment.
Experience:
- Manufacturing related experience is preferred
- Training experience is preferred
- OSHA 30 training preferred
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or 2-4 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
