TMC Transportation has an immediate full-time opening for a Safety Assistant working out of our office in Brownsburg, IN. 

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Provide support for the Safety Managers as well as the Senior Vice President of Safety.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor drive cam events to identify coaching opportunities with drivers.
• Work closely with Safety Managers to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Communicate safety protocols to prevent incidents, accidents, and injuries.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• Associate degree and/or equivalent work experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word & Excel)
• Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment and tolerate stress.
• Ability to plan and organize, attention to detail, problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Must be able to sit and use telephone and computer, simultaneously, for extended periods of time.
