Safety And Training Manager

NOW HIRING- DIRECT HIRE- ON 1st shift. $70-85k with Experience and current resume.

We are seeking a Safety and Training Manager/ Administrator to help support a local Manufacturer in Grayslake, IL. 

This candidate will be responsible for training employees on various topics required by OSHA and be a leader in the Safety Committee Program. We are looking for someone who has more Safety experience.  Someone who has lead safety management and Training programs, safety meetings, safety audits, performed / managed safety investigations, reviewed OSHA regulations and interpretation

* worked in a manufacturing environment 

* conducted safety meetings 

* work with the team on safety audits implant such as electrical, guarding, ergonomics….

* create/ fill out / follow safety procedures/ standards 

* assist a person if they have an injury such as a cut finger, clean cut, take person to clinic, complete documentation…

* assist with onboarding of employees. Safety training, train on policies

* take care of compliance tasks such as fire extinguisher certification, back flow, fire sprinkler system, removal of oils.. create a compliance spreadsheet for visibility of all to see.

* Assist with training in proper procedures/ processes.

*5 years + in experience
