RT Assistant Technicians - Resident/Nested

IRISNDT is currently seeking RT Assistant Technicians for full-time Resident/Nested positions in the Inver Grove Heights, MN area.  We offer competitive pay, full benefits, and opportunities to build a rewarding career with IRISNDT.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment under the supervision of the Certified Technician.
• Assist NDT Technicians in performing required inspection.
  
• Assist with proper documentation and reporting of inspection results.
• Become familiar with required codes and procedures to carry out testing.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management. 
  
• Industrial Inspection and maintenance which includes work with ultrasonic and radiographic equipment. 

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License and pre-access drug and alcohol testing required.
• Pre-employment background checks will be required. 
• 40hr Radiation Safety 
  
• NDT training and experience will be considered an asset.
• Technical experience preferred.
• Current SPRAT Rope Access certification will be considered an asset.

Physical Requirements:

• Move, carry, and lift objects 50 lbs. or more.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, reach, and climb.
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
