The role
Brunel is active in the RPO space and is looking to strengthen our approach and capability by adding a Senior Business Development Manager / Director / VP (based on experience) to our team with a focus on sales in North America. The right individual will have experience building a business through sales and work closely with an A team that delivers quality results to our clients. We are looking for a resilient, intelligent, capable solutions-focused professional to join our team.
Location: North America or the UK.
Essential Functions
- Lead the development and implementation of a consultative sales strategy to drive new business and meet revenue targets for the RPO vertical.
- Identify potential clients and establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
- Conduct in-depth assessments of clients' recruitment challenges and lead the development of customized RPO solutions that meet their unique needs, working collaboratively with internal teams.
- Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the RPO team to ensure that solutions are designed to continuously improve and meet the changing needs of the industry.
- Work closely with the delivery team to ensure that all RPO services are delivered to a high standard of quality and in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, client needs, and competitor activity to stay ahead of the market and position the company as a thought leader.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, and business performance, and develop and execute plans to address any gaps or opportunities.
- Writes and reviews business cases to further develop complex business ventures and synthesize information from feasibility studies that serve as inputs to business plans.
- Provides functional expertise to determine the capabilities and risks associated with proposed new ventures, e.g. assessment of operating models, non-fuel offerings, branding, sales, marketing, and logistics.
Qualifications and Work Experience
- Experience in consultative sales, with a focus on selling RPO services in the North American market.
- Strong understanding of the market and its unique recruitment challenges.
- Proven track record of developing and delivering customized solutions that meet client's needs and add strategic value.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and establish long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in developing and leading high-performing teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, consultative sales environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
