We are seeking a Rooms Director to oversee and elevate our Front Desk, Guest Services, Reservations, and Housekeeping departments.
Job Overview:
The Rooms Director is responsible for overseeing the operational effectiveness of the Front Desk, Reservations, Guest Services, and Housekeeping areas. This is an opportunity for a seasoned hospitality professional to lead and mentor a dedicated team in order to maximize guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee day-to-day operations of the Front Desk, Guest Services, Reservations, and Housekeeping departments.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Ensure that quality standards and procedures are met and maintained.
- Monitor department budgets and manage expenses effectively.
- Lead, train, and mentor staff to ensure high levels of teamwork, guest service, and operational excellence.
- Handle guest complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas to ensure quality standards.
- Produce regular reports on departmental performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Work closely with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans for the property.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a 4 Star or higher property.
- Proven track record of career stability and advancement.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software (PMS, MS Office, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or related field is preferred.
