Duties:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture, and replenishing amenities
- Ensure all areas of the room are clean and tidy, including the bathroom and common areas
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and healthy environment for guests
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Skills:
- Floor care: Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques for different types of flooring surfaces
- Housekeeping management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to ensure efficient cleaning operations
- Hospitality: Understanding the importance of providing a positive guest experience through cleanliness and attention to detail
- Hotel: Familiarity with hotel standards and procedures for room cleaning and maintenance
- Industrial cleaning: Experience in cleaning large spaces or facilities using specialized equipment and techniques
- Custodial: Knowledge of general custodial duties, including trash removal, restroom cleaning, and surface disinfection
- Cleanliness: Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment
