DUTIES:
Responsible to the Role-Play Operations Coordinator for the health, welfare, discipline, and execution of duties of all assigned Role Players during JRTC rotations.
- Carries out and supervises training, safety, Valiant, and applicable Fort Johnson and DoD policies and regulations.
- Ensures accountability of personnel, equipment, property and required clothing for work assignments.
- Ensures employee compliance with scheduled scripted events.
- Provides advice and direction to ensure realistic portrayal of Role Play events.
- Routinely conducts personnel evaluations on all assigned employees.
- Provide counseling to all assigned personnel.
- Routinely uses military forms and maps.
- Frequently uses mobile radio communications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous military experience at the NCO level or comparable civilian experience
- Supervisory experience in military or civilian organizations of comparable size
- Proficient in standard military terminologies and radio procedures
- Must be able to certify in First Responder.
Desired Experience:
- Military or civilian supervisory experience in support of live training conducted at a US Army Combat Training Center
- Current or previous service as a Role Player
- Certified First Responder
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to travel unaccompanied to continental US and foreign locations.
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
- Must be available to work irregular hours and weekends on a routine and consistent basis.
- Physical condition must permit the following:
- Work outdoors in all local climatic conditions.
- Lift up to 25 pounds.
- Walk 500 meters over uneven terrain without assistance.
- Work while sitting or standing for prolonged periods.
- Individual must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug screening; will be subject to random drug screening.
