Job Summary: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an RN Supervisor for our nursing home. The RN Supervisor will play a crucial role in leading and coordinating the nursing staff to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and guidance to nursing staff, including LPNs and CNAs.
- Oversee and coordinate daily nursing activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor and maintain accurate medical records, including resident charts and medication administration records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize resident health outcomes.
- Participate in staff training, orientation, and ongoing education programs.
- Act as a resource for nursing staff, addressing questions and concerns promptly.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for residents and staff.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license in FL
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to long-term care.
