Form of workRecruit Secure is collaborating with a beautiful, large (150+ beds) but highly rated Skilled Nursing Home in the Clark NJ area that is seeking a very experienced, dynamic, and caring RN Supervisor with experiences in Nurse Education and Wound Care.The RN Supervisor- Nurse Educator will be responsible for the day-to-day nursing activities and maintaining quality of care within the facility as well as developing, planning, and implementing a variety of educational programs for the Nursing staff. The RN Supervisor is an important part of the Nursing and Quality Administrative team and will participate in monitoring performance and outcomes, gathering data for assessments, and contributing to enhancements to QAPI and patient initiatives.
The successful candidate will have supervisory experience in Skilled Nursing Homes and experience planning and directing educational and on-the-job training programs. Some experience with Wound Care or Infection Control is a big plus. Great communication skills to interact with physicians, families, and the nursing staff is expected. There a lot of growth opportunities within the facility and this position could advance to the ADON role. This position reports directly to the Director of Nursing.

Requirements:
- BRN degree preferred but not mandatory
- Current NJ- RN License - a must
- Experience (at least 2 -3 years) working as a Supervisor, or Charge Nurse in a Skilled Nursing Home is a must
- Ability to plan, develop, direct, and coordinate educational and on-the-job training programs
- Knowledgeable with State and Federal regulations and compliance guidelines
- Experience developing and fostering collaborative teams
- Develop, maintain, and revise patient care policies as needed
