Job Title: RN Supervisor (Contract Position)

Location: Burlington, VT

Duration: 14 Weeks

Hours: 40 hours per week

Hourly Pay: $40/hr to $46/hr

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient care.
2. Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
3. Oversee patient admissions, discharges, and transfers to ensure smooth transitions of care.
4. Conduct regular rounds to assess patient status and monitor the quality of care provided.
5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
6. Assist with staff training, orientation, and ongoing education to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
7. Address and resolve patient and family concerns or complaints in a timely and compassionate manner.
8. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
10. Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, promoting professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

1. Valid RN license in the state of Vermont.
2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a healthcare setting.
4. BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
5. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a diverse healthcare team.
8. Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and organizational priorities.
9. Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire others.
10. Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as needed.
