RN Primary Care

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Nurse to provide medical care in our healthcare facility. The Nurse is responsible for recording vital signs, assisting doctors with a diagnosis, and completing paperwork.

• Position: Full Time - Registered Nurse
• Setting: Outpatient
• Specialty: Primary Care
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Hourly Pay: $35.00 - $55.00/ hour (Depends on Experience & Education)

Duties:
- Provide comprehensive Primary Care services to patients of all ages
- Conduct physical assessments and health screenings
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as sonography, spinal taps, and gastric lavage
- Assist with minor surgical procedures and wound care
- Monitor patient progress and update medical records in eClinicalWorks
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health promotion and disease prevention
- Provide toddler care, including immunizations and developmental assessments
- Assist with discharge planning and coordination of follow-up care

Requirements:
- Valid RN license in the state of CT.
- Minimum of one year of experience in Primary Care or a related field
- Proficiency in sterile processing techniques and infection control protocols
- Strong knowledge of medical coding and documentation practices
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects or patients as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
