Responsibilities
Responsible for working closely with the Perinatal Director to assure 100% of the Perinatal Safety Initiatives are fully implemented reporting monthly status to the Perinatal Patient Safety and Clinical Risk Management leadership in the system office (after approval of the Perinatal Director/Manager). Review charts and processes to evaluate compliance with each of the Perinatal Safety Initiatives. Supports the Perinatal Director/Manager in the roll out of Perinatal Safety projects and goal report results perform Perinatal Safety skills developmental and divisional training. Perform learning opportunity and drills for the division. Attend the monthly Perinatal Safety Improvement Coalition (PSIC) and conference calls with their Perinatal Director/Manager. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5 Years of Labor and Delivery Nursing Progressive Leadership Roles such as charge nurse or educator experience preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing Required MSN preferred
- CA RN License
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Neonatal Resuscitation
- Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring
- Professional certification in area of specialty(s) preferred.
- Active membership in professional organization(s).
- Commitment to ongoing educational advancement and professional growth.
Pay Range
$48.00 - $72.61 /hour
