This position will be located at our [Regional Medical Center](https://www.saintalphonsus.org/location/saint-alphonsus-regional-medical-center) off I-184 and Curtis Rd.*This unit does not take call, work holidays, or weekends and will**work 5, 8 hour shifts or 4, 10 hour shifts Monday - Friday with those being primarily day hours. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nurse or Cardiovascular Professional who is looking for a change from weekends, calls, and holidays.*In addition, we offer competitive wages, on-call pay, and shift differentials depending on work schedules. *As a RN or Cardiovascular Professional working for the Cath Lab you will:** Have an opportunity to work in a Level II Trauma Center with a growing cardiac service line* Care for adult patients with cardiac illness or injury* Work in a tight knit team and a department that can be fast paced*What you can expect:** Perform duties related to the following procedures: diagnostic right and left heart catheterizations, pacemaker/ICD insertion, coronary interventions including balloon pump insertion, PTCA’s, Atherectomy (Laser and Rotablator), Stent, IVUS, myocardial biopsy, peripheral angiography and interventions, pericardiocentesis, and other cardiology procedures as assigned.* Function as a member of the Regional Cath Lab Team to provide a safe, efficient environment*What you will need to start work with us:**Registered Nurse**License/Certification:** Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Idaho* American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required at date of hire* American Heart Associate Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire*Cardiovascular Professional**License/Certification:** Must have one of the following:* Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT),* Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or* Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).* American Heart Associate Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required at date of hire*About Saint Alphonsus*Colleagues of Saint Alphonsus Health System enjoy competitive compensation with a full benefits package and opportunity for growth throughout SAHS and Trinity Health.
